On December 25, 2024, EON Reality Vietnam Joint Stock Company signed a strategic partnership agreement with the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Arts – Vietnam National University, Hanoi. This marks a significant milestone in applying the EON-XR platform to enhance training quality and promote digital transformation in higher education.
The signing ceremony was attended by representatives from EON Reality Vietnam, including Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn – General Director and Ms. Nguyễn Yến Hoa – Chief Operating Officer.
From the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Arts – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, attendees included Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Văn Hiệu – Party Committee Secretary and Rector, Dr. Vũ Đường Luân – Head of the Department of Science, Technology, and International Cooperation, and Dr. Trần Quốc Trung – Deputy Head of the Faculty of Arts and Design.
This collaboration positions the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Arts as a pioneering institution in integrating AR/VR and AI technologies into interdisciplinary education. The EON-XR platform, with its cutting-edge solutions in virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and artificial intelligence (AI), will support faculty and students in creating engaging lectures and immersive learning experiences. This, in turn, will significantly enhance teaching and research effectiveness.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyễn Văn Hiệu, Rector of the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Arts, emphasized the indispensable role of digital transformation technologies in education in the era of Industry 4.0. He affirmed that the adoption of the EON-XR platform would modernize teaching, build an innovative digital education ecosystem, and foster interdisciplinary connections.
“The university will prioritize the implementation of EON-XR in teaching and training programs in Architecture, Urban Studies, Arts, Cultural and Creative Industries, and Heritage Studies to enhance educational effectiveness and meet the demands of both domestic and international labor markets,” he stated.
Mr. Nguyễn Hồng Sơn, General Director of EON Reality Vietnam, expressed his pride in partnering with the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Arts. He affirmed that the combination of EON-XR and the interdisciplinary approach would create breakthroughs in teaching, research, and creative skill development, addressing the demand for high-quality human resources in the digital era.
The EON-XR platform is currently available in over 110 countries, with more than 45 million users. It is utilized by governments, enterprises, and prestigious educational institutions both domestically and internationally, such as the University of East London, the University of Louisiana, ITE Singapore, the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, VTV College of Broadcasting, and Hanoi High-Tech College.
EON-XR will provide three levels of training knowledge: foundational knowledge, orientation knowledge, and specialized knowledge. This technology will be integrated into the university’s key training fields, enabling students to access realistic simulations, practice skills in a digital environment, and enhance creativity and interdisciplinary thinking.
The two parties have agreed on the following areas of collaboration:
- Developing training programs that apply AR/VR and AI technologies, integrating them into interdisciplinary and arts-related fields.
- Establishing a smart digital school model by implementing the EON-XR platform in teaching and research.
- Conducting projects to produce digital learning materials on the EON-XR platform for both domestic and international education programs.
- Collaborating to promote brand visibility and expand the digital education market through emerging technologies.
- Accelerating digital transformation in education, gradually building an advanced training model aligned with international standards.
Right after the signing ceremony, EON Reality Vietnam and the School of Interdisciplinary Science and Arts organized a teacher training program on applying VR, AR, and AI in education, featuring experts from the U.S. and Singapore.
The program aimed to integrate advanced technology into digital university teaching, enhancing modern learning environments and hands-on experiences. Faculty were trained on using EON-XR in interactive fields like Digital Graphics, Fashion, Interior Design, Architecture, and Smart Urban Management.
A key highlight was the AI-powered e-lecture creation feature, which quickly converts text into XR experiences, boosting efficiency in digital learning material development.
AR, VR, and AI technologies not only make lesson designs more engaging and dynamic but also open up opportunities to create highly interactive learning environments, where students can actively participate in immersive learning activities. Through these applications, learners can move beyond passive knowledge reception to actively experiment, experience, and practice in real-life scenarios.
Additionally, experts from EON Reality shared practical experiences from successful global education projects utilizing EON-XR, such as Romania’s project on revolutionizing education and training, and the Digital Space AI Center models in India and Ethiopia. These insights helped attendees understand how to apply new models and technologies in teaching.
In 2024, EON Reality signed partnerships with several universities and colleges to implement the EON-XR platform in education and training, including the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology, VTV College of Broadcasting, and Hanoi High-Tech College, among others. With the EON-XR platform, EON Reality Vietnam is committed to providing interactive and realistic learning experiences, helping learners access creative knowledge and develop comprehensive skills for both work and life.
